Our founder, Patrick Attankurugu, with a background in AI engineering and experience in predictive surveillance and Agritech startups, envisioned a company that would make cutting-edge technology accessible and relevant to African businesses and professionals.
The name "Azuma" comes from Patrick's traditional Friday-born name, symbolizing both personal heritage and the dawn of a new technological era in Africa—where innovation isn't just imported but developed and tailored locally to address unique regional challenges.
